The Passing of a forum member
It is with a heavy heart that I post this news. Glen McGuire (GMan), sadly passed away on 11th of June. When I joined Xmarksthescot Glen was here, he was one of the early members and along with Hank, Hamish, and others, he defined this site as the kilt wearers forum to be a part of. Over the years Glen and I became friends on various other forums and places online. I regret that I never had the opportunity to meet Glen in person. He will be greatly missed by us all, condolences to his family and friends.

Thank you for posting this Glen. As another long standing member I can remember the significant contribution which GMan made to this forum in its early days. I never knew him personally and so I considered myself in no position to post a eulogy, and I appreciate your doing this.
May GMan rest in peace.

Don't know how I missed this other than the spotty times I've been logging in. I had been wondering why I hadn't seen Glen for a while but just figured he had been busy. He stopped by my tent at all the festivals he came to and we shared many a wee, and sometimes muckle, dram. Loads of kilt nights share over the years. My wife and I will miss his smiling face. Rest well my friend. Until we share a toast again.
