    My understanding re: permissions is the same as Cajunscot's, but if I hear anything different from Strathmore about the RCAF tartan, I'll let you know.

    BTW - there are some tartans in the Scottish Lion catalog that can't be purchased as yardage. For example, the Diana Princess of Wales tartan is shown as a thumbnail, but, when I tried to buy yardage several years ago, I was told that the tartan is available only as finished goods with the proceeds going to various of Diana's charities. I assume that is still true, although I haven't asked.
