Greetings from the web of the thumb Michigan
Hello all,
I’ve lurked around the site for a few years after following a link to the x-kilt pattern and finally decided to join. I have one traditional style acrylic kilt and five utkilts utility style divided three solid black and two tartan. I started wearing a kilt while working as a truck unloader, in place of the shorts we were allowed to wear, at a company called Meijer. Since then I’ve been wearing one whenever I get a chance.

Well met and welcome. Proud to have any "yard jockeys" among us. I come from a family of truck drivers and hope I didn't offend you with the slang. My youngest brother (42 years behind the wheel) bragging, says, "those guys keep us on the road".
Glad to have you with us.

No offense taken. The yard dogs do indeed keep truckers on the road. Never been a yard dog myself, drove OTR (over the road for the non-trucker types) and was unloading at the Meijer store up in Gaylord, MI.
