Kilt Makers Willing To Work On Kilts They Didn't Make

I'm looking for someone to add a stabilizer and interfacing to a five-yard wool kilt. The original maker won't do it. USA Kilts will only work on kilts they made (understandable). I don't know of any local kilt makers (I will check with Angus Harvey this weekend at the Renaissance Faire but he's not exactly "local", despite being in the same state). Are there kilt makers willing to work on kilts made by someone else? Or am I on my own with this one? Thanks!

I thank you. I managed to find a copy of Barb's book at Half Price Books and I'll be using that, plus Steve's excellent photos, to help me DIY this. And I got permission from my lady to just order an 8-yard top-stitched from USA Kilts with my Q3 bonus if I mess it up (but I really hope I don't) . ;)

Bonnie Heather Greene has worked on several of my older kilts which she did not make. Although now she makes all my recent purchases.

I wish I could offer my services as I have done for other X Marks members.
But the fact is, I'm swamped right now.

Imbrius, because of my remoteness in the world, I have had to 'self-teach'. I have the TAoK by Barb, great read and I have followed Robert McDonald Youtube clips. This too has been a monumental help. Take a look at this clip in particular to solve your problem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hzDx5AFKyuk
