    Definitely different tartan on the flashes.
    From the little that is visible, his sporran is a fur and leather flap semi-dress. Metal balls and chains on the tassles. Not what I would take in the field.
    Hose aren't bad and kilt is at a good enough height.

    In Victorian times it was common for Scots to wear the same jacket with the kilt that they would wear with trousers.

    Due to the fashion of jackets at that time, cut so to button near the top and sweep open in an inverted V, the sporran wasn't hidden like it is with modern Saxon jackets.
