Name these Tartans

People are always asking what tartan I am wearing. Well, this good ol' brain sometimes can't remember, so I am making a list in my phone. For some reason I cannot remember what tartans these are. Possibly bought from USA Kilts or Sport Kilt. If you know the tartan list them from left to right as 1, 2, or 3 and the tartan name. Thank you very much.

2 is black watch/Campbell

3 is American heritage from USA kilts

1 may be black Stewart but I’m not sure

I think you're right, Hunter.

Though the photo is too small for me to see the tartans in detail.

I would expect the double-track motif on the Black Watch, and the vivid blue line on the Black Stewart, but I can't actually see them in that photo.

Black Stewart, a tartan I'm very fond of, has long been worn by the Prince Charles Pipe Band of San Francisco. Here you can see that they have their band kilts pleated to the line.

Richard, I don't think it's your eyes. There are no tracings running through the blue blocks. I do not thing it is Black Watch. But, I do concur with the Black Stewart, pleated to the white stripe, in the red blocks.

As has been said, the quality of th ephoto is poor but by lightening the image it's just possible to see the single tramlines on the blue. It's a reasonable assumption that the double tramlines are there too, just not visible and that this is the Black Watch/Campbell etc tartan.

I stand correct. Squinting at the screen long enough, I can almost see the tram lines.

Thanks for the info. I am sure I have it written down somewhere. Most people that ask won't know if give the wrong answer or not, but I do try. It's easier when I wear my solid colored kilts, they are all Utilikilts.

I have many times seen Black Watch-esque fashion tartans that have the "double track motif" simplified in some way.

They don't alternate, every blue square having the same arrangement of black lines, whatever that arrangement happens to be.

But yes I think I too see the full Black Watch arrangement of black lines in the blue there, now that I've looked at it more.
