I'll keep that in mind as I do plan on getting the boys some cooler kilts this summer. I think matching victory kilts for the three of us would be awesome.

    Just a thought Satarist.....I am a voracious
thrift store shopper (Goodwill, Value Village etc.)
(It must be the scot in me, I love a deal). I have
seen lots and lots of skirts like you describe
there. I've even bought a couple and dismantled them
to make fly plaids. See what you can find in your
area. I've seen some really nice skirts in various
sizes by Pendleton, Kinloch Anderson, you name it.
(No genuine mens kilts yet though)....
    Good luck.

You may have a problem getting her a kilt by Christmas but we'd be happy to try. Contact us for a quote.

Lot's of great help. Thanks. I just found exactly what I had in mind on ebay.

Muddy's thrift shop idea made me look there.
    Thanks Muddy.

It's a pleated skirt in a plaid that looks similar to the Royal Stewart tartan with an elastic waist. It will be perfect. She can have the pleasure of matching her big brothers, and brothers will have the satisfaction of being able to point out that she's in a skirt while they have actual kilts. I don't know why I didn't think of ebay sooner. I've bought 10 of my kilts there.

elijah, Thanks for the offer , but I'll be able to get this to her quicker.
