A new dram the other night; my first go with Auchentoshan 12.
Quite a nice addition to the cupboard.

I don't usually drink Lowland Whisky, but when I do, it's Auchentoshan.

Leisurely enjoyed the last of the Glenfiddich IPA Cask, from the experimental series.
Considering the Fire & Cane to fill that now vacant spot in the collection.

I have still been largely on my detour from Scotch Malt Whisky into Bourbon and various other currently popular American Whiskey styles--including a fair amount of "White" Whiskies (or White Dog, as they are also called here in the US--but feel I am ready to return to the Old Sod, especially now that the seasons are about to turn. I'm thinking I will start with either Talisker Storm, or maybe even Laphroaig Cask Strength 10 Year...

This was my first go with a lowland; stepping out of my comfort zone of Islay smoke.

Currently the Balvenie, Caribbean Cask, 14 year single malt. Delicious.

After a lot of years trying out a very wide variety, I've pretty well settled down to Aberlour and Aberlour Abunadh. Glenlivet Nadura isn't bad either.
As a result, I now have a whole bunch, therefore, of partial bottles to be finished off with Drambuie for 'Rusty Nails' where they're not noticed so much.
