Calgary kilt night?
With Jazzkilts in town for a few days early next week I wonder if anyone other than he, Dylan, and myself would like to meet at a coffee shop for an impromtu kilt night. The exact night or place hasn't been hammered down yet. C'mon, there HAS to be more kilties in Calgary!

Al, I seem to remember getting permission from you to send your e-mail out for a Calgary Kilts Night. Then, of course, I did absolutely nothing.
I'll send that e-mail out tonight to my Calgary customers and we'll see who gets in touch with you.

Thanks Terry! Even though I don't have the actual date/time pinned down I think it would be a fun evening. Being a weeknight should help, no major parties to conflict with.
Dylan...do you think you would be able to join us?

A bit of an update...
The first Calgary Kilt Night will be held Wednesday, December 22, at "Joyce on 4th", a traditional Irish pub. The address is 506 24th Ave. SW. I plan on being there about 7:30, as will Mark (aka Jazzkilts) and his B-I-L.
Hopefully we'll see a few more people out as well!

Nice night for kilting! It's currently -20C (-4F) here. That should make for a brisk walk to and from the car!!

Hey, sorry I missed that! Been rather busy with company here, and I wouldn't have been able to come anyways, considering the whole age thing. I need a fake!
How was it?

We would have changed the location to a coffee shop or something if you had been able to come, Dylan. Perhaps we can set up the next one so that you can come along.
That said, it went quite well, even if there was only Jazzkiltz, my wife Karen, and myself in attendance. We sat around and talked for hours like we were old friends, it was great! There's a pic in the "Kilt Nights" gallery under Calgary.

Great picture!
Maybe we could arrange one for the next Calgary Highland Games?
