    Replacement stone for Kilt pin?

I seem to have snagged and lost both the stone and the setting/band on my "Grouse" foot kilt pin. Any recommendations for ordering just a replacement stone and band?

Edited to add, this is the stone and band, worn like a ring on one of the toes, not a stone set into the cap.

    Thanks,

    Luke

I just did a search on eBay there are several grouse foot kilt pins at various price points, perhaps you could simply get another and use it or use it for parts.

Yes, Ive done the same, just have not found one that has the same stone as what was on mine. Many, especially the more well used ones only have a silver ring around the toe, not a ring with a stone. Looking for an Amber colored stone to keep everything matching.

Do you have a photo of the pin and a good locally-run jewelry store nearby?

I just moved from a town which had an excellent jeweler who would repair and make pieces that the chain stores just turned away. I found them to be reasonably priced and up to the challenge of helping restore old pieces to their former glory.

    Good luck.
