They'll be just fine for Normal wear and for things where Ghilles would be a little "over the top"

Use long hose pulled up with shoes. and I like to push the hose down when using boots for a more casual look. Although here in Norway in the winter I use more often than not Boots with the hose pulled up too.

In all it give a better Balance to your look
