Halo, agus tapadh leibh airson an fhailte; from TULSA, OK
I found the forum while seeking some clothing advice! (I'll post those questions in the appropriate thread) The name is Tim Campbell, and I reckon that I feel my Scottish genes as strongly as any American could, and have finally got my wife deeply interested in her own Craig heritage, as well.
And, I prefer box pleats, to the sett

Accent LOL Oklahoma has two main accents: A fairly neutral and metropolitan accent and cadence with light influences of Midwest, Deep South, and Texan southern (called either Upland Southern or Midlands. Then we have the small-town farmer/rancher/country/Ozark accents. I grew up in Tulsa but travelled extensively on vacations, went all over in the Air Force and OK Air Guard, then lived in North Carolina (Nawth Kuhlahna) for six years. Then throw in a bit of Scottish-ness acquired from our few real Scot acquaintances, which tends to come out when I get verbally annoyed by something/someone: "Pull in front of me just to hit yer brakes and turn, will ya!!! I hope yer next sh!te's a hedgehog, ya wee scrote!" My accent is real mess and is entirely situationally dependent.
