The most iconic is the Clan Claus tartan....

Nice picture, and not to be disagreeable, but iconic, is a strong word with a very particular meaning.
When I think Christmas and tartan, I think Walker's shortbread tins; which I believe are Grant tartan. There are also variations of Wallace that are produced as blankets, table cloths etc., not to mention the many forms of MacDonald and Royal Steward as tree ribbon. But all are most fashion tartans.
IMHO any tartan is Christmas tartan, if you choose it to be.

Crawford is a rather festive claret/green/white tartan; not to mention the shortbread tins...

I usually wear Wallace muted (by House of Edgar), although MacGregor red and green is also a good choice.
