In wishing you a Very Happy New Year, I have to admit that I too made such an announcement here, about five weeks ago, because there was so much in my life that I was neglecting. I have now to explain that my absence from this place was very short-lived. It is impossible just to "pop in"; one becomes involved again! 
My only New Year Resolution is to try harder to stay away from posting at least a couple of days a week. Only time will tell if I am successful!
