From the Hielands of Colorado
Twentyfive years of kilt wearing. Formerly as a regional commissioner for an American clan society (Pollock), a revelling (aka hard-partying) member of Clan Maxwell, and now just an old guy who likes to go kilted as I wander the trails around Colorado Springs.
I've had a number of kilts over the years, from a tailored one to wear formally to Burns Night celebrations, to a series of modern utilikilts in various sizes to reflect the growing measurements of my middle parts. So now I have 32", 34", 36", 38", 40", and 42" waisted attire.
Red Fraser, Red Maxwell, Black Watch, a utility kilt in the spurious "Hamilton Grey" fashion folly, as well as a standard canvas Chocolate Brown, and a Khaki utility kilt. When you are over 60 and your gut rises and falls, the cheap utility kilts are a lot easier on the wallet than having to purchase another $500+ worsted wood made-to-measure tartan kilt.
Anyway, I have been popping in for a couple of years and decided yesterday to go ahead and formally join up.

Welcome from Michigan!
One of the reaons I love my USA Kilts casuals - the velcro waistband is easy to adjust for when local gravity gets stronger.
