ahhhh.... my head... *throbbing pain*. Where am I? Oh yeah... It's all coming back to me now. Mountains of beer, cigarettes, enough snacks and finger food to feed a starving country, cigarettes, loud music, cigarettes, M80's at 12:01, shots of Jameson, more cigarettes...
Happy New Year!

Yay, happy new year!
I partied with friends last night, surrounded by homemade Irish cream (mine), homemade eggnog (A.K.A. "Deathnog" - a friend's), and homebrew (mine). A good, if fuzzy, time was had by all.

Happy New Year everyone!
Sherri and I spent New Year's Eve helping a friend move some heavy furniture into storage. Then it was all about snacking on fresh crabs, sipping champagne, and turning on the tv to watch the ball drop in Time's Square.
This morning, the leftover crab went into French omeletes (I learned to make them back when I earned my living as a cook). The leftover champagne went into Mimosas.
Our New Year is off to a good start.

Hogmanay...
We celebrated Hogmanay at our friend's "country estate" with plenty of McEwan's Scotch Ale, and then we went to the mother-in-law's hoose today for a Cajun feast -- boudain blanc and rice! Oh, I ate far too much!
A Guid new year tae yin and all!
Cheers,
T.
