8 yrd PVC kilt?

I've been wondering has USA kilts ever done a 8 yrd PVC kilt? I really love the maintenance aspect of the material and thought it might be a nice cross between the 8 yrd pleats with the benefit of the material both in cost and durability/maintenance?

Not as far as I know. But their 5-yard Casual is a fantastic kilt!

I agree I have one with my eye towards another but thought perhaps an 8 yrd might be sweet

Yes, we can make them! We actually just took an order for our Top Stitched 8 Yard Kilt yesterday, made from the Albannach cloth. It can be done, but it's obviously much more labor intensive (and therefore more $) than our Semi Traditional kilt.

Totally understand the increased cost would it be fare to ask ballpark?
