Hi Chris .... you do see kilts in the city centre during the day now and again (on Rugby days there are loads) but when the wife and myself have been coming home late from somewhere on the bus there certainly are a lot of guys queing to get into the clubs wearing their kilts. The Welsh Tartan Centre is always quite full when I pass it and I know that they sell a heck of a lot of family tartan kilts locally .. granted they hire a lot of stuff for weddings/occasions etc as well. We live not to far from a church and have seen about 8 or 9 weddings in 2004 where everyone has been in the Welsh National Tartan and a few in their own Family Tartan Kilts. So to answer your question .. yes, the welsh kilt is definitely making it marks again albeit slowly. Derek
