I don't know about USA but down here in Hobart finding a belt of the rack was impossible......till I walked in to a local leather work shop. What width belt would you like sir? And what colour...will that be shiny or dull finish and what buckle would you like from a huge colection in stock. 3 days later just what I wanted - 2 perfect belts with plain buckles- one black for formal and one brown for a casual look. $30 Aust each. In fact they were cheaper and better made than many off the shelf belts from big name stores. So see if you have a local leatherwork guy or gal in town-even try somewhere that may be a country style supplier.

Just an off thought but someone was talking about using a civil war type cap box for holding change and keys a while back. You might check some of the civil war suppliers (sutlers) they have both brown (CSA) and black (Union) and a variety of buckles, most in brass, or you can fit them to your own buckle.
