I've been Asked to do a Scottish Carwash Again.
Headed out tomorrow for an 8 day whitewater raft trip down the Grand Canyon. Will be my 5th trip down. Love it, so very very spiritual and majestic. Will be with friends.
I received an email from the trip organizer asking if I'd bring a kilt so she could get a Scottish Car Wash. So hey, why not? She used to be my neighbor. Been friends for 42 years and she's even older than I am.
If you don't know what a Scottish Car Wash is just do a search on youtube.
The tradition began when she asked me to do one years ago. I had no clue what she was talking about until she joyfully explained it then laid down in the dirt by the river and encouraged me to begin.
One year another gent showed up kilted and she asked for a double Scottish Car Wash....and got it.
Everyone in the group seems to love it, but she's the only one to actually lay down for it.
So, hey, we'll see. At my age it's kinda nice to be asked.

"I'll have a kilt please, a nice hand sewn tartan, 16 ounce Strome. Oh, and a sporran on the side, with a strap please."
