Purple Tartans?

Just a few few places worth checking out for lots of purple tartans:

It is interesting to see a number of non-purple tartans are in both lists. This is based on the use of terms like claret and magenta being used to describe what was originally red in tartans like Crawford and Stuart of Bute.
