Humour
One and all,
Since there is no spot on this forum for a joke I thouht I'd throw on in here. My father sent me this one this morning and I'm still giggling. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did!
An English doctor, being shown around a Scottish hospital, is taken to a
ward with a number of patients who show no visible sign of illness or
injury. He goes to the first man he sees and the man proclaims, "Fair fa'
yer sonsie face, great chieftan e' the puddin' race!" The Englishman, taken
aback goes to the next patient who starts reciting "Some hae meat, and canna
eat, and some wad eat that want it, but we hae meat and we can eat, and sae
the lord be thankit." The confused doctor goes to the next patient who says
"Wee sleekit cow'rin tim'rous beastie. O what a panic's in thy breastie!
Thou need na start awa sae hasty, wi' bickering brattle I wad be laith to
run and chase thee, wi' murdering prattle!"
The English doctor does not know what to make of any of this and says to the
Scottish doctor, "I see you saved the Scottish ward for the last."
The Scottish doctor says "Nay, nay, this is the serious Burns unit."

I used that joke a couple of years ago to open our Burns Supper -- smashing success!
Cheers,

Well I didn't think it would be new to a lot of folks but it certainly was to me. It's one of those jokes that will have you chuckling every time you read it.
