Well, Happy New Year . . .

Note that, in Scotland, it is considered very bad luck to wish anyone a "Happy New Year" before the new year has arrived. Same with hanging up the new calendar. Worldwide variation in time zones does make this a problem.

Useful to know, Alan. I guess what I should do is retract this for everyone who is still in 2021, except for those for whom it is considered customary.

Anyway, I'm a blondie and therefore was never welcome on New Years.
Those ancient U Nialls from Donegal were a randy bunch.
