Geoffrey (Tailor) tweed jacket
I've taken Geoffrey (Tailor) Edinburgh for granted for a very long time. Why? Simply because I see their booth every year at our largest California Highland Games.
Familiarity breeds contempt, they say, and the same thing happened with me concerning charcoal-grey tweed jackets; the internet is flooded with cheap-looking ones.
However when Geoffrey (Tailor) put up these charcoal-grey tweed jackets at a reasonable price on Ebay (due to them being ex-hire) I couldn't resist getting one.
I do like the cut and details, which are different from what I usually see nowadays.
The tweed has that nice look and "hand" that vintage tweeds do, with lovely texture and soft wooly feel.
And I can't deny the colour and texture looks super with my kilts!
