    Flower of Scotland

After spending the last hour with the camera on a tripod, self timer and cropping, I have managed to get 2 reasonable photos of me in my Flower of Scotland tank.

    David,

The kilt was made by Burnett's & Struth here in Canada. Barrie, Ontario just north of Toronto.

Check out their sale section. That is were I found it.

My Ancient MacGregor is one of their 4yd "casual" kilts. It has a traditional fit, but is machine sewn. And, I must say, with the same attention to detail.

    Graham,

They have those "ancient" colours which I tend to like.

    B & S Tank...

Good on ya, Casey! Burnett & Struth are an excellent company -- I had a hard time choosing between them and Hector Russell's Toronto branch. B & S makes manyu of the kilts for the Canadian Army and the RCAF Pipe Bands. If I remember correctly, they have the Royal Warrant in Canada for kilt-making.

David, my grandmother's maiden name was Williamson!

    Cheers,

    T.

    Todd,

It is my understanding that they are the Lochcarron rep in Canada.

You will see from their site that they even made a kilt for our modern Prince Charlie. But we won't hold it against them.

    Graham,

I missed your earlier question. Yes the sporran is from Buzz Kidder. As I have said, many times, they are great. They even hold enough to actually replace 2 or 3 pants pockets.

I have the Rob Roy too. The leather is soft so one does not have tassel hassel.
