I was interested in his view of the text changes between the CM and VS. We discussed the Brothers’ Gaelic teacher and a connection with the Highland Society of London which I am pursuing. Also, the fact that we’d separately tracked down the Cromarty Ms. Neither of us has seen it but I am making plans to examine it later this year and look forward to publishing more in due course.
