Hebridean refers to a fabric range by Hiuse of Edgar that uses a marled yarn. This is one of several versions of the MacKenzie, Dress tartan.

    I see.

    Thanks Peter.

I suppose Hebridean sounds more catchy than Dress #?

Most of the 'range of unique designs have been created to represent modern Scotland' are fashion tartans but there are a few clan tartans included too.

Interesting. Some nice looking tartans there.

If only I wore the kilts I have enough to justify another one.

I perused a swatch-book of the Hebridean Range and photos don't do the fabric justice.

A local Pipe Band adopted one of them, they look even better made up into kilts.
