Well put Jimmy, that's what I wanted to say also (but I wasn't clever enough).

Phil, altho' I found the carnal emphasis of the article offensive, I am glad you posted the link, it was quite an education and makes me think we live a rather sheltered life in Tassie

There are some sad views out there!
I'm glad you like it, it's not a matter if you agree or not, I just thought it was interesting to see how others see us, and the kilt,I like to see other points of view.and as you all know, I like to stir it up a bit or play devils advocate from time to time
and Kuznicki can you tell what website links to yours? I still don't fully understand how you found this site, just curious

    Phil,

I keep a weblog where I write about current events, history, and gay issues. Sometimes I write about serious stuff; sometimes it's offhanded and just based on personal experience. The server that it runs on sends me statistics telling me info about what links people into my site. The last couple of days I saw many dozens of people who had followed a link from X Marks the Scot. So naturally I stopped by to see what was going on.

    Hello All!

I've been rather busy the last few days so I'm playing catch-up.

First I'd like to welcome Kuznicki to the forum and say thank-you for bring your perspective to the group.

Secondly (bit of a tirade here ) I wish that it could be hammered into the societal mind that what a person does or does not wear is not an indicator of the kind of person they are. I am sick of seeing a label plastered on someone because of their clothes, mannerisms, jewerly, or grooming. We are instructed to love one another not label one another. How do we keep missing that one I wonder?
    (Ok end of tirade )

Lastly I want to commend everyone here, there are some forums I've seen where this would have ended up as a slice and dice session. While I may not agree with your choice in life Kuznicki I respect your courage and again welcome you as a friend to this forum.

    Slainthe Mhath'!

    Bill
May all your blessings be the ones you want and your friends many and true.

I'm down with that. We don't all have to agree on everything but the different viewpoints keep us all on our toes. Kuznicki, glad to have you join us here in kiltmania

Re: I found this kind of interesting

Reading the piece I'm not sure how the writers stand, sounds like he is against the kilt or he is too conservative for the kilt, that is his choice. In his words
