New Here= Sorta
Hello !
I am new here - sort of, I had signed up once before but I travel a bit so I don't get to check in every week and so I gues that must be why my old sign in doesn't work? Aynhow If you missed it I did not use my real name, maybe that's not allowed? I signed up under the name Revelation but since that refers to the Bible maybe that's why It was removed? Maybe I just forgot my password.....
Anyhow, I have been wearing kilts for a bit now and a friend of mine told me this was a good place to discuss kilts in America and that there were some good guys on this site. He did give me a couple of warnings but all in all he said if I wanted to know about how to make them and what vendors and such this was a good place. We will see if I fit in. Are Bible believers welcome here? If not say so and I will be on my way. I am not a person to write much and I am not one to take over a forum like this with bible preaching, but I do have some Kilt questions.
Later....
maybe....

Hey Gary... you bet they are. The only rule around here is that the "preaching" is restricted to pleat depth, material quality and recommendations on vendors. For that, we have PLENTY of soap boxes!
This is a fun place that caters to everyone and their opinions. We DO, however, appreciate it when religion and politics are checked at the door. I have some REAL strong stances on both... but I'll bet that no one around here really know what they are. They DO know what I like about kilts and their quality. That's what we're all about.
Dive in whenever you can, and try to learn something (if that's really possible).

Welcome Gary, glad you found us (again).
As a Christian, you may be interested in an article on this site that I wrote (hopefully) to help other Christian kiltwearers who may have questions.

All are welcome here, regardless of belief, but if you love the Word and wearing kilts - we have two things in common!! PTL!!

Gary,
Welcome to the forum!
Glad to have you join us.
Just beware, Kilts and this site are
quite addictive.

Gary,
Welcome, uh, again.
I know that Hank (the owner of this fine forum) pruned some of the member list a couple of weeks ago. I'm guessing that this is what happened to your username. I don't see any problem with you going by "Revelation". You can change your username in the "Profile" link at the top right of the page. Just know that you'll have to log in using the new username if you do.
Bible believers are welcome here, and many of the forum's members are Christians. We just request that religious discussions take place at other forums designed for that purpose, so that things continue to run smoothly here. You can find the list of Rules and FAQs at the top of the page.
I hope that you enjoy the forum, and I look forward to seeing you around.

FYI, a forum that IS designed for Bible discussion with fellow celts is Highlander Radio's "Kirk and Chapel" forum, we have a great time there and everyone gets on well.
