Scots whisky liqueur
Hi there: Haven’t been here in some time, but thought I would pass along the following information. I had a taste several years ago of a heavenly little item called Columba Cream, made on Mull from whisky, cream, and honey, and which as far as I know has never been available here in the States. We went to Scotland in October 2022, and I asked in a whisky shop in Perth about this. The proprietor spent quite a while hunting around in his sources and finally came to the conclusion that it is no longer in production. Drat! It was really fabulous. So now I will just have to begin experimenting with creating my own equivalent. Any suggestions for how to proceed are welcome. Thanks!

Probably out of production - although I would have thought Baileys Irish Cream is fairly close and easy enough to get hold of.

Oh I know about Bailey’s, thanks. It's fine, but Columba Cream put it into the little leagues in my book.

I found this but it’s only a starting point: ‘ A mixture of Tullibardine Single Malt Whisky, Graham's Dairy Cream and honey.’

I received a bottle of Wayne Gretzky 99: Canadian Cream, for Christmas. I love it.

Buffalo Trace makes a "Bourbon Cream". I have not tried it as I don't care much for that type of thing.
On the label it says, "Made from Buffalo Trace bourbon, rich cream and a hint of sugar."
Sub in your favorite scotch.

I enjoy the Bourbon Cream once in awhile.
