presley tartan...
Jimmy,
Does the Presley tartan remind you a wee bit of the Cape Breton tartan?

Absolutely it does! The Cape Breton kilt that I have is one of my favorites... partially due to the fact that it's one of Bear's best works. That tartan just looks UNREAL when it's pleated right.
I know that the Presely of Lonmay resembles a "dress" tartan, but it's not technically one. Since I can use a lighter-color tartan, this will just have to do the trick.

Cape Breton & Presley...
When I saw the image in your message, Jimmy, my mind immediately went to the Cape Breton tartan.
I like the Presley as well -- it has a nice "balance" to it -- colours go well together.
Cheers,
T.

I'm sorry guys, but this whole thread is making me think of a "Blue Suede Kilt", and I really don't want to step on that

Donald, where's yer troosers?
The late great Scottish singer Andy Stewart did a version of his famous song "Donald, where's yer troosers" in which he has "Elvis" sing the first verse for "more international appeal" of the song!
Andy Stewart is a stitch, especially "The Rumour"!

Glen,
If someone is stepping on your Blue Suede Kilt, you have either drank too much or your kilt is a wee bit too long.
