The asking price is for the new sporran as shown, together with the original army-issue bag that has been modified with the addition of acceptable but rather crude tassels. The white blanco has been removed, and it is now back to the base buff-colour suede.
This replacement bag has been made from an antique-finish chestnut-colour leather with a pleasing vintage-look grain, and lined with a sand-colour suede. The style and tassel arrangement is unique.
The cantle, although in functioning condition, has had the front plate removed (or it has broken off) at some stage, and has been re-attached using a resin adhesive. Not unsightly, and not visible in normal use, but it would benefit from a proper re-brazing.
