I had a great time at Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park and spent the entire trip kilted.
There are alot of photos I will probably put up later as well as the different kilts I wore but I had a once in a life time experience there I thought I'd share. I was at Roosevelt junction where a young Boar grizzly was peacefully rooting for breakfast when a coyote, who apparently had a den nearby took exception to his presence and got up in his face. The grizzly ignored him for quite a while but the commotion attracted the attention of a nearby herd of buffalo who had 3 bulls move over to see what was what. At one point the grizzly looked up and then turned and saw the buffalo who charged him. He took off like a scalded cat with the coyote nipping at his heels, The buffalo stopped fairly quickly but once the bear panicked the coyote ran him until I lost sight of them. Poor bear just minding his own business.
Here are a series of pictures of the incident.
