Ron, those of us living in the UK (United Kingdom) have had that same problem for several years now when writing about UKs (Utilikilts)!!
Have a question for Union Kilts and/or Ham...my besotted mind seems to recall talk of a new leather kilt where the leather sections were not completely sewn together but flapped loose like a Roman gladiator's skirt...was that the Union Kilt leather?? or another shops?
Thanks,
Ron
You're correct, Ron. The 'Gladiator'-idea leather kilt IS from UnionKilts. It's what they call their "Light Leather Union Kilt" and is illustrated on their website.
I have seen it and it is certainly 'different'. The website photos, unfortunately, do not do it justice. It is also, like their "Heavy Leather Union Kilt", beautifully made. I'll post a photo when I receive mine!!
