    My latest SGs…

A year, almost to the day, from when I made my first Sgian Dubh. These are a few of the newest I’ve made. The first one was made for retired USAF veteran. Stabilized maple burl, stirling silver, Sheffield blade, stirling silver and blue enamel AF wings.

The second one I kinda went hog wild on. Bog oak (of course!) Damascus blade, smoky quartz gemstone and all brass mounts.

What do you think about the crown on the bog oak one? Think it’s too big? Too plain?

I think it's just fine. I really like the stone set.

Class look to it. The Damascus blade, the brass accents and the smoky quartz compliment the dark wood.

Thanks. I think I may have gone a little overboard. And the cat that got the one that was a gift was totally peaking on it.
