Stone mountain highland game
In years past there was a meetup in Tucker on Friday night. Does that still happen ?

???????
Apologies for delay, I was hoping for other input first. Our meet-up was actually in Conyers, about 15 minutes from the mountain. The venue has been sold and remodeled and is less suited to a separate grouping; another might be more appropriate, and Tucker is half the distance. The struggle here is that I'm a survivor
of 77 years of no adult beverages and 45 years of no meat. Meaning that I'm very ill-informed on another appropriate venue with relevant breadth of food and
refreshment choices. I just got off the phone with our member here who started our meetups and Burns suppers, seeking advice. He's moved and doesn't have
an idea on venue. @Wareyin @Creag @Wil @MurrayInGA Anybody else? Thoughts?

Sorry. That's entirely on the wrong side of Atlanta for me to be familiar with any meeting places.

I had it wrong anyway. It was in Conyers not Tucker

I took a look at things on that side of town and didn't see much around Tucker, Lilburn, or Norcross. There's the Iron Horse in Norcross where @tripleblessed and I met last year and their menu was not vegetarian friendly.
Looks like some good places in Decatur but I'm not interested in dicking around with the overpriced, scan-a-QR Code parking there.
All that said it would be cool to meet up, I just don't have much help to offer locating a place unless folks are willing to come to Dunwoody, Peachtree Corners, or Johns Creek.

Sorry, I’m usually busy with the sponsors event/clan stuff in the evenings.
I will propose having a photo gathering at the games if anyone is interested. Im posting the same time/location in the Traditional Kilters and Kilts&Culture Facebook groups, as I know there’s plenty of crossover. Meet at the tartan forest, 2pm, Saturday and Sunday. Then come by the Murray tent for an Atholl Brose. Hope to see y’all there!

I am fine with the Iron Horse, as MH and I eat early. Another possibility occurs, depending on where emphasis rests with others. One exit up from the main gate
to the mountain is the Metro Diner. Broad selection of diner type food, easy approach from the mountain. There is a bar, I don't have info on how broadly stocked. Probably pretty busy on a Friday evening, but is a possibility. Iron Horse not as easy on approach, but maybe more relevant. Will Henry's is just across the Stone Mountain Freeway from the Mountain. A little smaller; don't know this location, but have been in another. Was OK.
Thoughts?

Great to see you all! Photo from Saturday. I know we had a few extras jump in (mostly from the Trad Kilters group from Facebook)
