A Scotch grain Highland brogue intended for wearing with Highland dress - why would you want anyhthing different..?
I am a very satisfied owner and wearer of these shoes, and I can attest that they look and feel great.

Also, as a note that getting quality does last, the following picture is of my wife and I dated on the back 1987. That is the same kilt and sporran. And I still use the same bonnet, hose and flashes now and again. Although I do have some extenders on the straps now.
I believe I have shrunk, as I seem to show a little less knee these days...
Know what you mean by shrinking, I’ve lost 1.5 inches due to age and back surgery. Last surgery they fused my lower four vertebrae.
