Where can I buy "Pride of Scotland" tartan?
I'm looking for the "Pride of Scotland" tartan, preferably in PV.
UTKilts claims to sell "Pride of Scotland" kilts in PV. But they don't sell the tartan. They do sell a great kilt in woolen wool, which may be my best option. But I'd have to buy 5 yards double width, which is more than I need.
Marton Mills doesn't sell "Pride of Scotland", and they're the premier supplier of PV tartan.
I don't see it at USAKilts, Lochcarron, or clan.com
Any recommendations?

Try McCalls Highandwear in Aberdeen.
They designed it in the mid-1990s and probably still have the copyright.

The Scottish Register of Tartan has this to say about the "Pride of Scotland" Tartan.
No. 2469
Registered; 01/01/1996
Designed by; McCalls of Aberdeen
Notes; Design owned by McCalls of Aberdeen. Woven exclusively by Lochcarron of Scotland. McCalls also have ribbon in this tartan. Very close to Spirit of Bannockburn. Sample in Scottish Tartans Authority Johnston Collection.
As this design has been given exclusive rights to be woven by Lochcarron only, who weave only in wool, the chances of finding it in a Polyester/Rayon blend are slim.

Thank you! I think I need to get more sleep. I thought I already checked the tartan registry, but obviously I didn't. Feeling foolish! Too much going on lately!
