Hello. from Janner52
Hello everyone.
I have been lurking around X Marks for a number of years and finall decided to make the jump.
I am based in the UK Midlands and have been an enthusiastic kilt wearer for about 20 years. I am originally from the South West of England. My user name may be a clue.
I like to think of the kilt as an item of everyday clothing i.e. an alternative to trousers, not to be kept locked away for a formal occasion.
I look forward to exchanging ideas and advice with all of you.

Welcome from, Inverness-shire( and I got your clue!). Although, I know your part of the world pretty well, particularly the East side of the South West and the West side of the Midlands. If that makes any sense?I think it does!

Welcome from Texas.
Glad to know at least one person in the old world approves of kilts as casual wear.

With the greatest of respect, there are many in the "old world" who wear the kilt as casual wear. The "Tartan Army" is one large group of kilted gentlemen from the "old World" who most certainly do, amongst many, many others, when the occasion arrises.
