Where to get a high quality Ghillie Shirt (100% cotton)
Struggling to find any well made Jacobite style shirts, even the expensive ones are often cotton/poly blend. After returning a too-good-to-be-true “100% cotton” shirt (actually it was 65% cotton 35% polyester, and the cuffs were practically unbottonable), I’m starting to think I should just try and make my own, to my own personal specifications. However, if I can find a high quality, pure cotton and well tailored shirt for not-eye-watering price, I’ll go for that.

A personal choice but I'm not sure why anyone would want to wear a Pirate Shirt.

I am not taking this question lightly, but is there such a thing as a good quality Ghillie Shirt? Even if there was/is, it is a style that I would not even consider wearing.

I'm not a fan of the look, but USA Kilts has them.

If they're good enough for Lord Kilwillie, they're good enough for me! :-)
Being serious, I don't think I can pull off the look, but I completely understand the appeal.

I'll not post a photo but my kit for Anonymous Morris - website is available, for the foolhardy, viewer discretion advised, is quite often an ankle length kilt, 'pirate' shirt, top hat all in black plus a tatter jacket in black, purple and blues.
Back in the day I used to wear the shirts when they were 'glam rock'.
It has become really difficult to find good all cotton fabrics, linen is almost unobtainable.

I would definitely not have any in my wardrobe.

I do own one and have worn it once in a while for beachwear. I wouldn't wear it with my kilts because it has nothing to do with Scotland except on the cover of fourth rate, historically 'imaginative' romance paperbacks.
