Everything has its time and place.

Sometimes the historically inaccurate but romantic look is just the right thing to wear.

Such as when you are the MC of a Burns Night where all the other gents are wearing a puffy pirate shirt (and they are very comfortable to dance in! )

Life is too short not to have have fun

Crumbs! According to my computer you haven't received any pictures! We have dollop of very wet and windy weather at the moment that causes havoc with our signal. If the number of telephone and internet vehicles going up and down our road is anything to go by we have a problem. We live off a road where 4cars an hour is rush hour!

Anyway thank you so much for your help. I have a few more pictures that will help the overall view of things if you don't mind? I think it might be best for us to let the technology sort itself out before I try to send some more though. Some may note that I am often wearing a bonnet in the pictures, its not the norm. However, the weather often dictates otherwise!

Sounds like my kind of place. We are quite remote also (no cell signal to speak of), but not quite that much so.

Come to think of it, I have a couple pictures of you that you sent to me when I was inquiring about shoes. If you're alright with it, I'd be happy to re-post them here for others to see.
I was so focused on shoes at the time, I didn't even notice you were wearing tattersall. Which means, when I said tattersall looks good with a kilt, it was probably because I had an image of you floating around my subconscious. :-)

McKenzie, thank you so much for your willing help and in time, I hope some members will be able to build their wardrobe with ideas gleaned from the pictures. It must be quite difficult for those enthusiastic members of Xmarks to get an idea of what a kilted gentleman in Scotland might wear. I really hope that you have given some of your countrymen and others, something to think about before they rush off and purchase something that with hindsight regret and a certain amount of realistic knowledge gained from the pictures that you have posted today may avoid that.
