The biggest drawback, I find, is that the fabric is very stiff, and swings open in front fairly readily. But maybe that was the point (cf Father Bill's observations about road crews in Ontario).
An interesting concept but I do have to agree with Jock on this.
Hi Viz clothing is appearing in all sorts of circumstances in the UK, so I suspect it won’t be long before we have to wear one to cross the road. Imagine the thought of a pipe band, marching down the road all with yellow hi viz, maybe an orange one for the pipe major.
