Pakistani Balmoral tartan?

Which raises this question: does "Balmoral" occur as a surname?

If so, somebody could cook up a "Clan Balmoral Society" and adopt a Balmoral tartan as their Clan tartan.

I have never encountered it and there appears to be no record of it in Scotland. This is hardly surprising as the proper name does not appear until the first half of the 19th century as far as I know.

And there is of course, no such thing as a Clan Balmoral.

But this is only because they are fed a diet of white and black methyl methacrylate on alternate days. I saw it on the intranet.
