    Thank you for asking. We faired rather better than some, even so, we have a fair few trees down--------plenty of firewood for the next few years!------ the roads were blocked for a while, no electricity/internet/TV, telephone of any sort. We prepare for this sort of thing and it's usually just the power that gets hit, but this time around it was rather exceptional. As always in these grim and dangerous circumstances, those that worked through the night and the following days and nights with no respite were absolutely marvellous.

    Good to hear you came through it. When they report these extreme weather issues in the media they don’t always realise how much effort must go into reconnecting a few homes in remote areas.
