Missed Burns Night
I was looking at the local news and founds out that I missed a local Burns Night gather by the St. Andrew's Society of NH.
Oh well, maybe next year!
Here is the link if you want to read the article.

Burns Nicht...
A very nice article, Will; I only wish I could get our local "fishwrap" to publish something that detailed about our Burns Supper!
Are you familiar with these folks?

I really like the Maine District Tartan, which is illustrated on the page -- it is the oldest district tartan in the United States (the Nova Scotia tartan is the oldest in North America).
Cheers,
Todd

Todd,
Glad you liked the article.
I know about the Maine Highland Games. They are at least 1.5 hours away from me. I will keep an eye open about when their games are. I thing it is in Sept. Maybe I can make the trip.

Maine Saint Andrew's Society...
Will,
It looks like there is a St. Andrew's Society in Maine; while you've probably missed their Burns Night, I wonder if they do other activities throughout the year; Tartan Day, for instance, is coming up in April.
Cheers,
Todd
