to go back to my "Dear Santa" thread....
I got to pick up my Christmas gift today. It's been a while, due in no part to fault of USA Kilts.
My Scotland's National premiere is bloody beautiful. 8 yards of 13 oz (correct me if I'm wrong on the weight, Rocky) wool, very well made. The apron is plenty wide, with no curl as of yet.... we'll see what happens when the dry cleaners get ahold of it. and unlike some "fixed" kilts I've seen, the tartan actually lines up in the pleats. On the whole, I'm more than impressed.
Photos to be posted soon.

I was lucky enough to be there at the shop when Jeremy picked it up. It's farking gorgeous. Rocky made him dump his pants right there in the shop and put it on and go to lunch with us.
I almost don't want to say I bought another PV kilt yesterday. Hahaha. I am now coveting wool. My next USAK will be wool. Not a premiere, but wool nonetheless.
For the record, my new PV is a Ramsey tartan.

Wool is good.
I just need to pick up a couple more kilts I can wear to work at the machine shop. Originally, this was supposed to be one... I was thinking Scotland's nat'l in PV traditional model, when I saw the swatch book, and ordered the premier. Stuff happens when you're jonesing for a new kilt. I can only pray that my next one will be synthetic.
