First Hobart Kilt night
On Sat.night I had the pleasure of meeting with fellow kilt enthusiasts in the south of our State and we met for what may be called our first Hobart Kilt Night.
The meeting was at a local vegetarian restaurant and attended by (l-r, photo one) Leslie, Graham, Daniel (my son wearing a USA kilt) Joy (who plays in a local pipe band). (Photo 2) Dr.David Mitchell, an authority on kilts, retired barrister and church minister,(in Mitchell tartan) his wife Melba (wearing the Australian tartan), Rob (from our own board here in a USAK Black Watch) and his wife Jan (wearing Smith tartan).

Thanks Casey, a mix of people is right enough! but as far as vegetarian food goes, it was OK but I think my wife is a better cook!

I generally go to a restaurant, because I don't want to cook or I want to enjoy being served. Other than that I am a excellent cook (my hobby/addiction) and my wife is from France (need I say more).
The vegetarian restaurant rather than a bar/pub appeals to me.
