Greetings from the High Appalachians folks! Thought I'd pop in to introduce myself. I'm not kilted (YET) but I'm loving the forum. No doubt I'll find my butt covered in tartan before the years end. Came across this site while doing some searches for family history. It turns out I may have connections to Lindsay and Robertson, however tenuous. Please see my other post on the subject in the OT area: http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3406 See you 'round!

Kiltedmusiclover, Specifically, I'm in Knoxville, TN. OK... Technically it's the valley next to the "High Appalachians". So sue me.
[/b]I am a newbie as you all probably now. However I am glad that this forum does exist. Ive been watching this site for quite some time and have since recently decided to join. I am glad that this site exists. Some of the questions Ive had about kilts and etiquette have been answered here by the members. I have a bit of Scotch in my blood on my mothers side and my fathers side. The Ross is the tartan I identify with though and have a Great Kilt in the Ross Hunting Modern tartan. It is the most comfortable piece of clothing I own and wouldn't trade it for the world. Hello to all and hope to ask and maybee get to answer some of your questions in the future.
Welcome aboard Angus. I too have some Scotch in my blood and add to it frequently Good to have you with us.

Warmest of welcomes to both Angus and elkdoc!
