Was on a trail used by tourists to reach the Horseshoe Bend overlook of Glen Canyon.
Passed a young man in his 20s with two ladies, all with the California look that fit the car with the California plates at the trailhead. They all smiled and he said, "Love the kilt bro"
Farther down the trail I passed six young ladies about the same age, they were chatting in Italian and looked like Italian tourists. Just as I passed one of them cut loose with a wolf whistle. I turned and smiled and they just giggled like school girls.
Been a loooong time since this 60-year-old fossil has gotten a wolf whistle from a lady he's never met.
In the space of a few minutes, in the canyonlands of Northern Arizona, kilts get approval from guys from California and ladies from Italy.
A good day.

You weren't airing the boys again with the aprons tucking into your belt at the time were you?
