    Utilikilts on ebay

    Just an observation:
I will occasionally take a look at what is on ebay as far as Utilikilt options. I am surprised at the prices that the bidding gets to. I have seen the UK's on ebay sell for more than you would pay if you went down to the shop. Anyone have any theories to this phenomenon?

Might it be the infamous wait times?

I've heard everything from 1 week to several months wait!

    I agree,

Its gotta be a combination of "auction fever" and/or the notorious waiting time.

I waited 12 weeks for my first UK...woulda grabbed one on ebay or elsewhere in a heartbeat.

Think I'm up to ten UKs now, when the two I just ordered get in. Wait time is usually 5-6 weeks.

Could also be someone who doesn't know the pricing for UK kilts...but that seems far fetched.

I think some folks who bid at e-Bay just loose their minds. Prime example, a fellow recently sold five pieces of fire .303 British brass and a stripper clip of over $50.00 AUS. In a sporting goods stor, you can buy fired brass for 25 cents or less per cartridge.

Then there was the guy who sold half a tuna salad sandwich for over $10,000.00.

People just go nuts at an auction.

I need to sell some stuff there.

    Hot and muggy!

Still damp and misty down Jackson way?

I had to take Marcia down there for a meeting this morning. That fog sure made for nasty driving.
